Ambassador Katalin Kissné Hlatki praised the achievements of Hungarian space exploration in her welcoming speech, emphasizing that Hungary is the 7th nation to send man into space, which also put our first astronaut Bertalan Farkas in the TOP100 list. The Axiom 4 mission, which is marked by the name of Tibor Kapu, is the most outstanding success of the space strategy adopted by the Hungarian Government in 2021, as a result of which numerous Hungarian technologies and experiments have reached the International Space Station. The success of the HUNOR program lies, among other things, in the fact that Hungary was able to implement an exemplary international cooperation. The Ambassador particularly emphasized the great example set by Tibor Kapu for the younger generations, that can inspire hundreds and thousands of children in their studies towards physics, biology and space exploration.

In his address Dumitru-Dorin PRUNARIU praised the success of Hungary's technological development, expressing his hope that the whole of Central Europe would share in Hungary's success. He considered Tibor Kapu as the first important figure in the new era of Hungarian space exploration, who - in addition to the results of technological development - embodied the commitment of a nation to exploit scientific and educational opportunities. Prunariu welcomed and praised the role of Hungarian governmental and non-governmental organizations, as well as international partners, who contributed to the successful mission, and then emphasized that he hoped this success would bring our countries closer in scientific dialogue and mutual respect in the spirit of shared knowledge.
